As we were driving along the highway in the Andies, we came across this heard of Alpacas. We all got out of the car and walked among the heard.
We moved in slowly , and they just looked around, checking us out a little bit. They all gathered around the babies to protect them. They were so cute. This is Sister Lopez, Sister Sarrat, Stefay and Elder Jackson approaching the heard.
Elder Tirado is in the background getting a few pictures of the Alpaca that would pose for him.
Sister Marler thought if she dressed in a wool blanket, the Alpaca would think she was family.
Actually, it was 6 degrees centigrade and she was freezing!
