Elder Hendrix...and his wife

This is a first...Elder Paul Hendrix, now known as Paul and his new wife, Melissa Morris.  We are so excited to welcome Melissa to the "Family Trujillo"
Congratulations!

Time with the missionaries

We realize everyone likes to see pictures of the missionaries and will know there haven't been as many lately...I'll share why.  We have having one on one interviews with each missionary and providing some training.  It has been a marvelous experience.  President interviews each missionary, I then have the opportunity to meet with each missionary and talk about some of their concern, get comments on how we can work better as a mission and answer questions.  We are so enjoying this time with each of our missionaries.

After our time with the missionaries they all meet with the Assistants (our lead missionaries) for a training and Q&A time.
We just love the time we spend with each missionary and we love each and every one of them so very much!
Here are a few pictures of some of our missionaries during interviews.

...INTRODUCING...THE PADILLA's

We would like to introduce everyone to Elder and Sister Padilla.  They are our first "couple missionaries."  We are excited to have them with us.

Here we are as the Padillo's arrived at the airport...  The Elders have found them an apartment in Barrio California and they will be moving in next week.

The Padilla's are here serving as Family History Missionaries, filming records of Peru for Family History Research.
Stopped by the temple on our way home and the gates were open...marble going up on the outside
Welcome to Trujillo Mission, the greatest mission in the world!

What a wonderful day, we are in Chimbote again, and just love it here.   Today was a special day, as we were able to attend a baptism of our dear friend Hermano Leo Lara

Sister Semorile, Sister Martinez and Sister Bills have had the great opportunity to teach, meet with, and love the Lara family and Hermana Maria and Hermanita Nayhelt.  Here are Sister Bills and Sister Semorile, with the families they love so much!

We are thankful to the Lara family for letting us share in this magnificent day

What is our purpose?

In our Mission Council we are helping our leadership to have a better understanding of their roles and responsibilities.  They are learning to share the mission experience with all members of our Church as we invite all to "Come Unto Christ"

The work of the Lord "is to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life" of his children
Moses 1:39

And we, as members of the Lord's church, have the opportunity to share the message of Jesus Christ with all the people of the world

We proclaim His love and his divinity through word and song
We are children of a loving Heavenly Father, He loves each of us individually
He knows us.

We teach of Jesus Christ and His atoning sacrifice for us

We teach of His goodness and mercy

 We sing praises unto Him

We council one with another, and testify to all people in all lands,  that Jesus is the Christ

We study the words of His prophets from the Holy Bible, the Book of Mormon and his modern day prophets.

We also have a good time together as we share these messages
...and we partake of his bounties

We fill the mission home with love and music

Our Mission  Leadership Council

Thanks for your examples, your service to the Lord and your love of those you serve.
