Liderazco Meeting…90+ in attendance

We had a super-liderazco meeting on Wednesday.  All of our Sister Leader Trainers, Zone Leaders and District Leaders gathered to talk about or vision, our mission and our dedication to the 

Work of Salvation, the work of our Heavenly Father, 

to bring to pass the immortality and eternal life of man.

Our Sister Trainer Leaders gathered together, we will have 2 of them go home in October and another 8 in November.  We can't believe that the Sisters who came with us will be going home so soon. It seems like we just arrived.

 We counseled with one another, examined our vision  and recommitted our work to the Lord.

 This was one of the most powerful, spiritual meetings I have attended, it was amazing.

 During a break we had time to chat and enjoy each others company,

 Our missionaries really love each other.

Baptisms this last week

We love to share the pictures of the baptisms that are sent to us each week.  It is such a blessing to serve during this time.  We are seeing many people come, and return to Christ.  We feel blessed to be instruments in the Lord's hands and help people find their way back "home."

The entire Arana family are now members of the Church of Jesus Christ.  Now they are preparing to go to the temple together as a family next summer! Congratulations to the Arana family.

 It takes a ward to baptize, love and retain…all missionaries in the Trujillo Mission are so thankful for the wonderful ward members and welcome and continue to bless the lives of those who chose to follow Jesus Christ and accept baptism into His Church.

Porvenir Stake Provides a night of Music and the Spoken Word

The Porvenir Stake held a special evening with the Stake President and Mission President. (April 27) The purpose of the event was to invite the neighborhood to come and hear about the

 Gospel of Jesus Christ.

It was a beautiful night of music and testimonies of our Savior. 

The Trujillo Mission Choir sang under the direction of Sister Wayman

Presidente Quiñones of the Porvenir Stake had this wonderful idea to gather everyone together  for this wonderful evening
President Quiñones spoke of the "Obra De Salvación"  and the great need for us to hasten the work of the Lord in these "last days", before the second coming of the Lord.  He invited all to come unto Christ, and follow in his footsteps.

President Marler shared a message of the Resurrected Lord, and his great love for all of His children here on the earth.  He expressed his gratitude for the atonement of Jesus Christ.

Not everyone was present for the beginning of the meeting, but in usually Peruvian style, the Chapel was filled with 500 people during the program.  Many who attended, not only enjoyed the program, but have met with the missionaries for lessons and have been baptized.  

What a great experience!

It is that time again…missionaries returning home...

We have spent 7 wonderful months with these fabulous missionaries.  We will love and miss you all.  What a great privilege it has been to serve beside you!  

Every time our missionaries go home, we have a dinner of American Hamburgers cooked by President Marler and our Assistant Elder Smith.

Then we visit for awhile and then have a testimony meeting.
This is always a highlight, to hear our missionaries
testify of Jesus Christ our Savior.

We only wish we had room to print all of the pictures of every missionary greeting the Grows.  We loved the smiling faces and the love that the Grows had for each of the missionaries.  Here are a few.
