Worldwide Gathering of Missionaries

We had a historic gathering of missionaries through out the world.

On Wednesday, January 20, 80,000+ missionaries around the world met together, via satellite,

to hear from some of our general church leaders. 

 Missionaries here in our mission met in various chapels around the mission.

 Listening in Spanish and in English.

Playa Puemape

While visiting a member in San Pedro de Lloc we were told be had to visit the most beautiful beach.

Welcome to Playa Puemape.

 We may a short stop on our way home to Trujillo.

The boats like you find in Huanchaco were found on the beach.

 ...and there were millions of shells.  Many of which now reside at the mission home.

New Missionaries Arrive

10 missionaries arrived in Trujillo at 8:20 a.m.

 We, of course, stopped for a picture in front of the airport.

Missionaries include, Sister Mancilla, Sister Sandoval, The Marler's, Elder , Elder Rios, Elder Craft, Elder Vasco, Elder Mayaute, Elder Marshall, Elder Angulo D' Leon, Elder Quiñonez, Elder Norton, 

Hermana Chaparro, Hermana Vasquez, Sister Angell.

 A few moments at the temple, President talked about our purpose in bringing the blessings of the

Temple to the people of Trujillo.

Some of our missionaries returned for a visit

Lorena Bedoya and Johnathan Walther are engaged,

it was so nice to have them come by for a visit.

 Congratulations, they plan on being married in May, in the Draper, Utah Temple.

 Milagros Baldeon came and surprised Hermana Gutierrez at the airport, what fun to spend the 

evening with these two wonderful Sisters.
