A New Style of Missionary Work

When a new Elder or Sister arrives at the mission, they have the opportunity to sit down with the President and have an interview.  During this time together, President Marler learns all about the talents and interests of the missionaries.  We really know that the Lord has blessed all of his missionaries with many talents, if they can discover the talent that the Lord wants them to share with the people of Peru, and then they share that talent...we find that miracles happen.

Sometimes an Elder can play the harmonica, or a Sister can play the guitar and the President encourages the missionaries to share these talents in the community and find a way to "find favor in the eyes" of our brothers and sisters in the cities of our mission.

Elder Zacarias is from Argentina and he is a Professional Break Dancer.  Here is his in his everyday missionary-wear.

And here he is as he "breaks it up" and shares his talents.  Once a week he holds a free class for the community.  He has had as many as 30 people who show up for his lessons.  Everyone knows that they will hear a lesson on a principle taught by the Savior in the scriptures, and then have their lesson.
Now that is using your head to find people to teach!

And now, the action!
