Hermana Marler's Oatmeal "Chocolate" Chip Cookies

I have been asked to post my Oatmeal Chocolate Chip recipe.  

Here it will be immortalized on the internet forever.

(though I call it Oatmeal Chocolate Chip, it always has different varieties of chips)

Parents come pick up their missionaries and bring me butter scotch chips, chocolate chips, 

white chocolate chips, peanut butter chips, and Heath Bar crunch pieces,

I just throw in handfuls of whatever is closest, mixing and matching as the flavors "speak" to me.

Hermana Marler's Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookies

heat oven to 400

step 1: cream together                step 2: mix then add                            step 3: add

1 cup butter                                   1 teaspoon baking powder                    12 ounce chips of your choice                

1 cup brown sugar                        1 teaspoon baking soda                          

1 cup white sugar                          2 cups flour

2 eggs                                            2 1/4 cup oat meal

2 teaspoons vanilla

bake at 400 for 8-9 minutes
