A Week in Review with Scott and Stefany

It was such a wonderful week to have Stefany and Scott here with us in Trujillo.
They loved being here with the missionaries and had a great time in Peru.  We were busy every minute, we spent time with the missionaries in a Zone Conference, had zone activities with three zones, and ate a lot of terrific food.  Here is the week in pictures!

The ruins of Chan Chan are always interesting to visit, the largest Chimu ruins in all South America.
This is probably one of the most famous places in Trujillo.
the Huaca (Temple) of Arco Iris, the rainbow, was really neat.  It was our first time visiting here.

Then we stopped by the zoo in Esperanza, it isn't open yet, but they have 2 alpaca and we enjoyed taking pictures of them.
The Fenn's and Jackson's on the temple.  Great day for the Fenn's as the Angle Moroni was lifted up.

We headed to the sierra for a zone conference and stopped to play with the alpaca along the way.  Stefany posed with a couple of her new friends.
p-day in Huamachuco…and on to Marcahuamachuco ruins with the Sierra zone.

Stef and Scott met this lady who fell in love with them and posed for a picture. As you know, very few mountain people will allow their picture to be taken, but this lovely lady was thrilled!
We played baseball and soccer with the Esperanza and Porvenir zones…everyone had a great time.

 Sister Wisa getting batting lessons
 A little family hug...
Scott demonstrating the ability to jump high cliffs in a single bound!
Lunch at Big Ben's, can't leave town without it!!!
 …and a good-bye photo at the airport
Thanks for coming, we love you…
