 Brother Reno not only plays the pan flute, but runs our sound for the program too.

We had a p-day…yoo-hoo...

We stay pretty busy, but we took a few hours for a p-day this last

Saturday.

 We invited Sister Angell and Sister Vaughan to join us for a 

walk on the beach in Salaverry.

 We rested in the sun, and enjoyed the rays.

 We found a boat named Norma, after our Norma Marler, of course!

 The boats of Salaverry are everywhere, on the beach and in the streets...

Who remembers this boat???????

Multi-Zone Conference with Zonas Esperanza and Casagrande

We have wonderful, spiritual experiences in each zone conference.  Though our messages are the same for each group, each comes prepared for their own unique experiences.  

Thus each day is new and exciting and we grow closer to the Savior.

Liderazgo Service Project

We had a terrific service project at the Escuela Manuel Arévalo

We planted trees, played with the school children and carried water, blessings upon blessings

the next day it rained and the trees are getting all the water then need.

Thanks to Elder Leavitt for organizing the best service projects. We love to Serve.

President Marler gave a little talk and planted the first tree with the help of about 40 eager students. 

so maybe it was crazy hat day, a hard hat, a baseball hat,

A fancy gentleman's hat,

Group 5th Grade A…cleaned all the trash in front of the school, swept the walk, dug a huge hole 

and planted this cute little tree.

After the project, we paused for a pictures.

Organized new Branch Presidency in Huarmay

This last weekend, we were in Huarmay, the very southern end of our mission.  

Huarmay is in the Casma District of the Church, and this is under the direction of the mission president. 

This weekend, the Branch Presidency was reorganized.
