A Banner is Unfurled...

You may remember 1 1/2 years ago that we climbed "Cerro Bolongo" in the Estaca Este.
We climbed the hill and dedicated the land to the Lord,
The leaders of the area, pledged to work diligently with missionaries
to open the area and bring the
Gospel of Jesus Christ to those who had not had
the opportunity to learn of his grand and glorious teachings.

Today, the Stake President, President Tapia, The Bishops and their wives, and the missionaries
gathered once again to recommit to work together for the benefit of the people who live within the
boundaries of the East Stake.
President Tapia, President and Sister Marler, Elder Rodriguez Bishops and Sisters who are leaders
in the wards and stake spoke to those gathered.
After, we all signed a banner, an ensign to the world of our love and dedication to the work of the Lord on behalf of his children here on the earth.
Here President Tapia signs his name.
Mercedes will long remember her time on top of "Cerro Bolongo" and her desire to serve the Lord.
Elder Connelly helps hold the banner as she signs her name.
