A visit from Elder Zavaleta and His Family

One of the joys of being a Mission President is having your "Returned Missionies" return for a visit.

 It is a joy to meet the parents and family of each missionary.

Let the Show Begin!

There was a wonderful spirit in the air as we began the program.  

First we took a group photo, all of the Trujillo Zones performed.

 Sister Marler led us all in a few Christmas Carols for warm-up.

And the show began.

 Elder Going starts things off with the trumpet fanfare to "Joy to the World" 

as we announce the coming of the Savior 

and this Christmas Season, the celebration of His birth.

 Elder Pacheco wrote and recited a beautiful poem about the meaning of Christmas, 

and the great gift of Jesus Christ from our loving Heavenly Father. 

Elder Terry shared his talents by accompanying some of the Choral numbers. 

Traditional and non-traditional hymns were sung by soloists and the Choir.

 Hermana Mason and Elder Winterton, are going viral with their Hallelujah video with Brother Reno.

 We sang of Christ, We talked of Christ, We showed "El Es la Dádiva" (He is the Gift), 

and Invited 2000+ people to come unto Christ.  

Now that is successful missionary work.

 After the show there was time to visit with friends, another joy of Christmas.

Finally, a special thank you to Elder Leavitt, he was the manager of the entire show,
He, and under his direction,  and the entire office staff worked behind the scenes
to make sure every detail was perfect.

Baptism Day

We spend much of our time on the blog showing everyone the fun side of each day,

the meetings and trainings we have,

but the most important thing we do,

is invite people to come unto Christ.

Hermano George, Hemana Marilú, Hermana Matha, and Hermana Claudia 

entered the waters of baptism 

on Saturday morning.
