The office Elders know to to celebrate!
President Marler started his birthday at 12:00 midnight with his daughters singing Happy Birthday via Skype. He shares his birthday with 2 of his 4 daughters, so it is very special that they spend part of their day together. I don't think that he thought it would be at midnight, but he loved talking to them. |
He had a special day at the office as well. The Missionaries from the Palermo Zone sang Happy Birthday, in English and Spanish.

Wishing for Miracles!
Trainings went on as usual, but the snacks were very different...birthday cake mid morning and root beer floats in the afternoon. I have had to purchase the A & W root beers 3 or 4 at a time, as you just can't find them that easily here (it took two weeks to find enough for the office staff and zone to have root beer floats!). I'll will start stocking up now for Christmas and his next birthday. |
