Today was our Consejo de Liderazgo, or Leadership Council Meeting, what a great group of strong leaders we have in this mission. We feel blessed to be able to serve with them.
|
Can they do it? Yes they can! |
The morning started out with training, counseling together and discussing how we are doing in the mission. The Viru Zone Leaders sang a beautiful musical number.
We then had lunch at the mission home. We are all so thankful to Lucy and Alicia for all of their hard work and the wonderful Carne Asada con Lucy!

We included Alicia and Lucy in our group picture today, so everyone can see who it is that is responsible for the delicious meals, lovely home and gracious friendship we enjoy.

The final activity was a photo scavenger hunt in Old Trujillo. What fun the Elders and Sisters had running from place to place, taking pictures and finding answers to clues throughout the blocks of the puebla. I have included some of my favorite photos...creativity abounds in this group.

You've got to love this one, awarded most creative. Where did Elder Ferreira ever find a poster like this? |
|
Not sure what this is, but I like it! |

This picture was submitted for most funny... won the prize for honorable mention. |

If there had have been a prize for having the most fun, Elder Vanden Bosch would have won. |

Elder's Fackrell and Smith did a great job of planning the event, posing here with Elder Chatwin and Wallace. |
