It was a wonderful way to spend New Years Eve Day,
Our leadership Council met, evaluated what we have done and
set goals for where we need to go.

Getting ready to play a little soccer (futbol). President and I played for part of the game…I know the missionaries like us to join in, but it is really difficult to keep up with these 18-24 year olds who have played soccer all of their lives!

Sister Marler explaining the "play of the day"…the ball was kicked to Sister Marler, high in the air. ..and like any great American Football player, she caught the ball, tucked it under her left arm, blocked with her right and ran for the touchdown. At first everyone just stood there, apparently this isn't exactly the way to play "futbol". But Sister Marler's team blocked for her, as the other team tried to stop her forward progress…touchdown, 6 points! She even spiked the ball after her 49 yard run.
