President Marler, and our Assistants, Elder Bond and Elder Marshall
headed to Chota last weekend.
It is a beautiful 8 hour drive through Pacasmayo, Chiclayo,
and beyond, high into the Sierra.
There were grape vineyards as far as the eye could see.

| This is a man made water fall, in the middle of nowhere. Elder Bond,President Jave, President Marler and Elder Marshall had to stop for a selfie. |

| There were also miles and miles of rice patties. Some of the best rice in the world in grown between Pacasmayo and Chota. |
Climbing into the mountains they reached an altitude of 12,500 + feet.
A travel post wouldn't be complete without a few animal shots along the way.

| They visited the home of several members, preparing for the Sunday meetings. |

They had a wonderful trip, it was very successful. 44 members attended Church and there were
invitations give to more. It looks like Chota will be growing in numbers in the near future.
