Campbells loved Trujillo

Saturday was a very fun day,
1st stop, Hermalinda. the mercado!
Strolling down Hermalinda's tiendas.
Yep, that's right, a bag of piglets.
Then we headed to the Huaca de La Luna and Sol.
We learned all about the Moche civilization and the building of the Huacas.

Looking from Huaca de la luna to Huaca del Sol.
Our next stop, after McDonald's ice-cream we went out to Salaverry.
We loved the boats and the ocean.
After a hamburger dinner, by Grandpa, we
had a concert/jam session with the Elder's.
Nothing sweeter than singing and playing the hymns.
Gunnar had his first violin lesson from Elder Haacke.
Elder Bond held the Ukelele, while Jorden strummed the guitar.

Addy with a pet llama all dressed up for the holiday.

In Otuso, we went to Church in a little Branch, then on the way back to the car, we sat on llamas in the
Plaza de Armas, and relaxed.
Addyson at the beach.
Taking selfies at the beach!
Michael and Addy walking down the beach.

Becky and her day...how sweet it is to be loved by you!
Playing Soccer with the "big boys"  Michael, Gunner and Jorden had such a great time.
...and Gunner dribbling.
Tuesday we headed off to El Brujo and visited
two of the Huacas there.
Huaca de Cao below.
and Huaca de Brujo, you could actually walk into it,
and see bones on the floor of the huaca.
On the back side in the sand, we found
pieces of ancient pottery and more bones.
Wednesday we took a city tour of Trujillo on
a double-decker bus.
We also visited some of the colonial mansions.
This one houses the Archeological Museum.
One of Axel's favorite things was going to the horse show and feeding the
baby horse.
Addy liked the dances with the beautiful dresses.
After the show, we took a picture with the cast.
Friday we went to the temple.  Michael is holding a blue card with my dad's name on it.
Michael, Gunnar and Becky did baptisms and we had a beautiful day.
Michael was baptized on behalf of his grandfather, my dad.
Later we retuned to the temple, where Brother and Sister Lara were sealed for
time and for all eternity.
It was a lovely sealing, they were also sealed to their
daughters Lily and Mercedes.
Congratulations Lara family.
Saturday we went to Chan Chan with the office staff, and did a little last minute shopping.
Kurt with the grandsons at Chan Chan.
What a fun week we all had!

Sunday came all too fast when we took the Campbell Family to the airport.
We loved every minute of our time together.
Thanks for coming, we love you!
