An Activity with President and Sister Marler

The Porvenir and Esperanza Zones joined the Marler's for a P-day activity.
There were smiles and great conversations,
 Selfies,
 and juggling practice.
 Posing for pictures,
 Futbol,
and a walk on the beach.

 Sandcastle building,
...and a soft ball game, look at Sister Sandy catch that ball!

It was a beautiful day, full of fellowship and fun.
Thanks for sharing the day with us.

Mormon Helping Hands, Trujillo Style

Brother Walter Solis is the Public Affairs Director here in the City of Trujillo for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.  He organized a huge Mormon Helping Hands Beach Clean-up Day in Huanchaco (just North of Trujillo).
Alcalda Fernando Bazán thanks the members of the Trujillo Stakes for their service to the Community

The Surf Association thanks the Church for this great clean up effort
7 Stakes participated with over 1000 volunteers.  It was a great day and the beach is clean for the tourist season.
over 1000 members of the Church participated in the clean up

Waiting to get started

far as the eye can see, members of the Church were cleaning the beach
Lucy and her family getting ready to clean a section of the beach

Did I mention that over 100 missionaries joined with members in this service project?
